Description

African beaded shield from Cameroon and is made by the Tikar tribe. Traditionally the Tikar tribes used wooden shields as a defensive weapon; more recently the wood shields are decorated with beads and cowrie shells and used for decor and ritual purposes.

Looks amazing as decor on a wall.
